The Queens Head is proud to be considered locally as Stratford s best kept local secret mainly due to our determination to stay traditional whereas many hostelries these days go Gastro or wine bar Carol Geoff and Dan are very passionate about keeping the great British pub an ongoing institution. We offer home cooked pub grub at very reasonable prices (the hand cut chips are a must!) to suit most tastes be it a snack or one of our succulent steaks should you be celebrating a special occasion during your visit we would be happy to personally recommend one of a number of local restaurants and even make your reservation. We also offer a range of real ales draught beers wines and spirits. Our courtyard garden is known to be the best suntrap in central Stratford (when we are fortunate enough to enjoy the sun!)Where you can enjoy your food with a relaxing drink. br / br / br / br / Our bar area has an abundance of oak beams exposed brickwork and an open fire for those chilly winter evenings the bar servery is a regular topic of conversation due to a false wall being removed to reveal a forgotten inglenook fireplace with an antique cast iron cooking range. The Queens Head has recently been refurbished throughout (with an emphasis on keeping with tradition) to include new toilets and a magnificent full length window where customers can sit and watch the world go by while enjoying the friendly atmosphere in our lovely pub. br / br / br / br / The front door in the bar leads out onto Ely Street with access directly towards an adjacent shopping centre (soon to be revamped and include a cinema and a range of new retail outlets) and Stratford s High Street where the true magic of Stratford s Tudor age comes into view. br / br / Our aim at The Queens Head is for you to enjoy every aspect of your visit to Stratford and to make us your first choice whenever you have the opportunity. br / br / Enter as strangers and leave as friends x

Stratford Upon Avon train station - Train: From Stratford railway station we are less than half a mile away turn left out of the railway station onto the Alcester road at the traffic lights continue straight over to the next set of lights and turn right the first road on the left will be signposted for the multi storey car park turn left continue to the right hand side of the car park and you will see our gates at the end of the road this is the rear entrance to the Queens Head br/ br/ M40 jct 15 - Road: Take the A46 signposted Stratford Upon Avon turn left onto the A3400 continue past retail park over lights to island turn right into Windsor street straight over lights first left signposted multi story car park turn left keep to the right of the car park and you will see the rear gates of the Queens Head in front of you.
