From Glasgow and the A82 Follow the A82 northwards in the direction of Dumbarton and towards Loch Lomond. At the village of Tarbet join the A83 and follow on through Argyll Forest Park. Continue on the A83 into Inverary and at The Argyll Hotel take the A819 in the direction of Oban. Continue on the A819 and when signposted take the B840 in the direction of Cladich Portsonachan Eredine and Ford. Following the B840 the hotel can be found on the right hand side of the road in front of Loch Awe.
