Contact us directly for this special offer br / br / br / br / Welcome to St Vincent Guest House - one of the most beautiful grade II listed buildings in Lynton where Emma and Michael offer comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation all year round. Built in 1834 by master mariner Thomas Geen who was captain on the Bristol-built ship St Vincent allegedly for his mistress (more research underway!) this Georgian house is full of history character and charm (and free fibre optic broadband). br / br / br / br / You can spend a relaxing and peaceful break in the heart of the Exmoor National Park where we are just two minutes away from the Lynton Lynmouth part of the South West Coast Path the Coleridge Way and the Tarka Trail (cycle and walking). For more ideas of activities on offer and with great shots of the spectacular scenery watch these two short films - I d rather be in North Devon and Exmoor and Lynton and Lynmouth. You could also take a look at these clips from the BFI for some archive footage of the area. br / br / br / br / Breakfast is available from 8.00 9.30 am. You can choose from a Full English to smoked salmon or simply porridge and a range of cereals. We always use fresh free-range eggs and local produce wherever possible and cater for gluten-free vegetarian vegan and other dietary requirements. Just let us know what you would like. Freshly made coffee and a range of teas are available. Via Taunton J 25 of M5 - Road: From Taunton follow the directions for Minehead and then continue on via Porlock up Porlock Hill across the hills (wonderful views of the Bristol Channel across to Wales). Travel onwards on the A39 down Countisbury Hill into Lynmouth. Follow the road up a very steep hill to a sharp right turn which will take you into Lynton. We are above the car park opposite Lynton Primary School and next to the Museum. br/ br/ Via Tiverton J 27 of M5 - Road: Exit at junction 27 of M5. Take the A361 (Signposted Barnstaple) to South Molton and then join the B3227 sign posted Simonsbath. Then at Blackmoor Gate take the A399 which becomes the A39 following signs to Lynton. The road forks right allowing you to enter the town via castle hill into the car park on the left. St. Vincent House is in Market Street next to the museum and opposite the Primary School. br/ br/ Barnstaple - Bus: Take the train to Barnstaple. There are buses from Monday to Saturday and times can be found on the Traveline South West website. There are also taxis available from Barnstaple to Lynton. br/ br/ Via Bridgewater J 23 of M5 - Road: From Bridgewater follow the directions for Minehead and then continue on via Porlock up Porlock Hill across the hills (wonderful views of the Bristol Channel across to Wales).
