Just a short drive away is the town of Santo Tirso, situated in the valley of the River Ave, where visitors will find a variety of dining and retail options. Some interesting landmarks include the Abade Pedrosa Museum, the Romanesque Church of Roriz, the Citania de Sanfins, a pre-Roman settlement, and the Caldas da Saude thermal spa.
