Welcome in our B&B our Home holiday in Ariège with swimming pool and jacuzzi. br / br / Sylvie and Laurent welcome you to their home in a renovated 18th century farmstead in the hamlet of Florac in Tarascon Ariège near Andorra and Carcassonne. br / br / br / br / Our B&B holiday home in the Pyrénées in Ariège. br / br / We are situated 1 h driving to Carcassonne Albi and Andorra. br / br / br / br / the swimming pool is open from may to end of september ( according to the weather) and it is heated ( 26/28 ) and the jacuzzi all year long. br / br / br / br / We welcome you to join us at table d hôtes where you ll savour seasonal regional br / br / br / br / dishes prepared by Laurent using fresh organic and/or local produce. br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / Right around Les Chataigniers de Florac you can take advantage of the br / br / br / br / many walking trails of all levels the ski stations (Ax Bonascre for alpine br / br / br / br / skiing and the plateau de Beille for cross-country) enjoy snowshoeing fishing br / br / br / br / mushroom hunting visit Cathar castles and the medieval towns of Foix and Mirepoix. br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / Or doing some shopping in Andorra ( 60 km away) Toulouse and Carcassonne each 100 km. br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / Two enormous chestnut trees by the terrace provide plenty of shade for naps br / br / br / br / and simply relaxing if you prefer to take advantage of the peace and quiet. br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / Our four rooms are equipped with WC private bathroom and a sitting area br / br / br / br / with television and wi-fi connexion. In our living/dining room you can consult brochures br / br / br / br / on the region and plan your sightseeing and activities. br / br / br / br / br / br / br / br / We practice an eco tourism where it is possible by sorting rubbish for recycling and changing towels only upon request . br / br / br / br / In order to save energy and put less washing powder into the environment we try. br / br / br / br / All the rooms are fitted with energy-saving light bulbs and we heat the living/dining room with a wood pellet burning stove. br / br / br / br / The swimming pool is covered and heated with a solar heat pump. br / br / br / br / pets not accepted but we like them.
