The family-run Gasthof Tauernalm is located at 1680 metres above sea level and offers direct views of the Großglockner Austria's highest mountain. Located directly at the Großglockner High Alpine Road 400 metres above Heiligenblut Gasthof Tauernalm is a starting point for hiking tours in summer.In winter this inn is located right by the Tauernberg T-bar lift which takes you to the ski area. The traditional restaurant serves homemade delicacies and local specialities.
